سری کارتونهای Dora the Explorer در دنیا بسیار معروف و رایج هستند و شاید شما هم اسم آن را از دوستان و آشنایانی که در خارج از ایران زندگی میکنند شنیده باشید. یکی از دلایل محبوبیت این کارتون بین بچه ها اینست که این کارتون سعی میکند بیننده را هم در انجام کارها شریک کند و با بیننده تعامل داشته باشد. یکی از سازندگان Dora the Explorer میگوید: ما میخواستیم کارتونی تولید کنیم که به بچه های کوچک مهارتهای حل مساله را آموزش دهد. بچه ها در سنین پیش دبستانی هر روز با مشکلات زیادی روبرو میشوند و استراتژی های حل مساله نظیر کمک خواستن از دیگران و استفاده از آنچه که میدانید در تمامی این کارتونها گنجانده شده است. آموزش دهندگان اعتقاد دارند که معرفی زبان دوم به کودک قبل از سن 6 یا 7 سالگی فاکتور مهمی در توانایی کودک برای روان صحبت کردن آن زبان در آینده است.

Dora and Boots rescue a baby duckling that has magically come to life in their coloring book.

Dora and Boots search for Mimo, the school's hamster.
18- Dora the Explorer - City of Lost Toys
The Lost City
Dora and Boots travel to Lost City, where thy hope to find Dora's missing teddy bear. Along the way, they visit the Number Pyramid.
Lost Squeaky
Dora and Boots head to Gooey Geyser to save Boots' squeaky bath toy.
Berry Hunt
Dora and Boots hunt for blueberries on Blueberry Hill -- home of Swiper the Fox. When they successfully stop Swiper, and grab Blueberries, a bear is hungry for some too, leaving Dora and Boots to escape the bear by the obstacles they came through with going around the obstacles is not possible. They go across the Icy Cold River and through the Prickly Forest to make it to Blueberry Hill, then they drop the bear off by going backwards from the hill to the forest to the river.
Sticky Tape
Benny needs tape to repair a hole in his hot air balloon.
19- Dora the Explorer - Cowgirl Dora
Pinto, the Pony Express
Dora and Boots ride Pinto to deliver cowboy cookies to Benny.
A Letter for Swiper
Dora and Boots deliver a letter to Swiper. The letter is a bunch of stickers.
Choo Choo
Dora and Boots help Azul the train, to win a race against Big Green Train and Medi-Red Train. Azul wins the race and as a reward gets a whistle, which he doesn't have. Along the way they go over the mountain and through the tunnel to get to the big yellow station, where Val the Octopus is.
Hic! Boom! Ohhh...
The twosome set off to investigate the source of a funny sound, Hic! Boom! Ohhh. Along the way, they go down the Noisy River, hit the Big Red Chicken, go through the Quiet Forest, and finally go to Yellow Valley, where Benny is making that sound. Also along the way they hear Benny shout "Hic! Boom! Ohhh!" and the twosome thinks about the sound.

Boo!
Dora and Boots meet a Little Monster while trick-or-treating.
The Missing Piece
Dora and Boots help wizard, El Encantador, find his missing magic wand.

Dora and Boots set off to return Pablo's magical flute and reverse a devastating drought.
22- Dora the Explorer - Meet Diego
Meet Diego!
Dora introduces Boots (and the viewer) to her older cousin Diego, an animal rescuer. Dora and Boots volunteer to help him when Baby Jaguar gets stuck by the edge of a waterfall. (This was the first appearance of Diego, who would later get a spin-off series of his own, Go, Diego, Go!)
To the South Pole
Dora and friends help a baby penguin get back to the South Pole.
Little Star
Dora and Boots find a star that has fallen from the sky thanks to a comet. They try to get the Star home to the Moon, but Swiper successfully swipes the fallen star (even before she could say the first part of the phrase) and hides her in Tico's tree house, with the night coming very fast and with it being almost too late to make wishes on the star.
WizzleWishes
Dora and Boots help a Wizzle recover his lost wishes. They go past Isa's garden, then go through the Nutty Forest where Boots wishes for nuts and Tico goes around the nuts, and then they make it to the Wishing Well to "wish the Wizzle home" to his mommy and daddy. The Grumpy old Troll appears in this episode.

Dora Had a Little Lamb
Dora and Boots jump into a book of nursery rhymes to help a little lamb get back to Mary.

Boots is confident he can solve the (very) silliest riddles.
Backpack
Dora tells a story about how she got Backpack. For this, she had library books to return that are overdue at the end of the day, so she, Boots and Backpack need to return them.
In this episode, Dora hears Boots cry because he fell and got a boo-boo.
Also, Boots gets stuck in icky sticky sand.
Big River
Boots loses his boot in the river and the river that the boot is in, leads to a water fall, leaving Dora and Boots to get to the boot before it plummets and sinks in the waterfall. They follow the boot under the bridge and past the Froggy Rocks to get to the waterfall.
